EAW Focuses in on Diversity Equity and Inclusion in the Workplace

This year the Executive Arborist Workshop will include a half-day workshop on diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). It will help tree care professionals understand the role of DEI in the workplace, its impact on recruitment and retention, and how it contributes to the overall success of a business.

Erin Demers, Manager of Workforce Recruitment & Retention, will lead the workshop to help professionals understand how DEI contributes to the overall sustainability of their business. “Cultivating a diverse employee population where everyone feels comfortable bringing their best selves to work is not only the right thing to do, it’s also good for your business,” said Erin. “We want this to be an open discussion to help tree care companies mitigate bias and create policies that support DEI in your business and your community.”
